Registration Confirmation Process
Upon registration for the APAA Council Meeting please be advise the following process will occur:
For all online registrations, an automatic email will be generated and sent after the form has been completed to acknowledge your information has been received. In approximate 7 working days, a further email confirmation will be sent confirming registration and payment. If your registration is not paid, you will receive a not paid reminder.
For all hard copy registrations received, an email (if email address is provided) confirmation will be sent confirming registration and payment. If your registration is not paid, you will receive a not paid reminder.

Discover Adelaide
Day:Sunday (OS1) and Tuesday (OT1)
Time: Morning (0900 – 1300 hours)
Additional Tickets: A$80.00 per person
Minimum of 20 participants
This tour starts at the Colonel Light Memorial in North Adelaide for spectacular views of the city. Lunch will be available on return to the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The Tuesday tour will also include a visit to the R.M. Williams Museum and Outlet Store. R.M. Williams has a world wide reputation as a quality maker of Australian bush clothing and accessories, as well as a visit to the Jam Factory to view a variety of craft spectaculars.
Cleland Wildlife Tour
Day:Sunday (OS2) and Tuesday (OT2)
Time:Morning (0900 – 1300 hours)
Additional Tickets: A$95.00 per person
Minimum of 20 participants
A visit to the Cleland Wildlife Park, which is set amongst tall Australian gum trees, is a must while in Adelaide. Here you can walk amongst a wide variety of Australian animals and birds in their natural surroundings. Hand feed the kangaroos, see cuddly koalas and wallabies and catch a glimpse of a Tasmanian Devil. Lunch will be available on return to the Convention Centre.
Artistic Adelaide
Day:Sunday (OS3) and Tuesday (OT3)
Time:Morning (0900 – 1300 hours)
Additional Tickets:$105.00 per person

The morning will start with a private tour of the Australian collection at the Art Gallery with a curator, and includes a tour of the Artlab to view the restoration of old paintings, porcelain, books, needlework and family treasures. Morning tea will be at the Art Gallery Cafe and lunch will be provided on return to the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Magill Estate Winery Tour
Day:Sunday (OS4) and Tuesday (OT4)
Time:Afternoon (1300 – 1700 hours)
Additional Tickets:A$120.00 per person
Minimum 20 participants
Magill Estate is a part of the world famous Penfolds label. A private guide will take you on a tour of the winery, visiting the maturation tunnels and various vines. There will be a premium wine tasting accompanied by tasting notes and fine local produce. Lunch will be available prior to departure from the Convention Centre.
Historic Hahndorf Village
Day:Sunday (OS5) and Tuesday (OT5)
Time:Afternoon (1330 – 1730 hours)

Nestled deep in the Adelaide Hills, historic Hahndorf is a little piece of old Europe transplanted into a beautiful Australian setting. This historic German village was established over a hundred years ago and here German immigrants recreated much of the culture and tradition of their homeland. Guests can enjoy fine German cuisine & beverages, and explore the quaint and delightful little stores situated along the century-old, tree-lined streets. Beerenberg Strawberry Farm is an Adelaide institution, hand pick your own strawberries from the field or sample a variety of scrumptious products, such as chutneys, jams, sauces and many other delicious specialities from the Beerenberg shop! Lunch will be available prior to departure from the Convention Centre.

ED1 – Cleland Wildlife Tour

ED2 – A Day in the Barossa Valley

Time: 0830 – 1630 hours
Minimum of 20 participants
This very popular full day tour focuses on the enjoyment of wine with the opportunity to sample and discuss your tastings with qualified and knowledgeable winery staff at a variety of famous wineries and vineyards. Lunch in the countryside of the Barossa Valley will be at one of Australia’s premium wineries.
ED3 – Vineyards, Almonds & Olives by the Sea – McLaren Vale
Date: Monday 19 November 2007
Time:0900 – 1700 hours
Minimum of 20 participants
Perhaps one of South Australia's best-kept secrets – the McLaren Vale is home to many delightful family-owned wineries, where we will visit and taste their wines.
On this full day tour we will include a visit to an olive grove to sample olive products and also fine local almonds at The Almond Train. Platters of fresh regional food will be served for lunch in the tranquil setting at Woodstock Winery followed by a visit to a local art/craft gallery.
ED4 - Adelaide Hills - Secrets & Surprises
Date:Monday 19 November 2007
Time: 0830 – 1630 hours
Minimum of 20 participants
Visit The Cedars, home and studio of the landscape artist, the late Sir Hans Heysen. Discover the charm of Hahndorf, Australia's oldest German settlement. Next comes a visit to the Jurlique Herb Farm, where a specialist guide will lead you around the herb bed products. Fresh herbs will be the focus of a special lunch prepared here.
ED5 – Cycling – Adelaide to Henley Beach
Date: Monday 19 November 2007
Time: 0930 – 1430 hours (second group 1130 – 1600 hours subject to demand)
Minimum of 20 participants
During this leisurely day of cycling, ride along the tranquil Torrens River from the city to beachside at Henley. Enjoy the parks and gardens of Adelaide as you pedal along the river’s picturesque cycle path to vibrant Henley Beach. Suitable for those with a reasonable level of fitness, this 15 kilometre ride will take approximately 1-2 hours. After arriving on the coast, enjoy a delicious lunch at a beachside bistro before returning to the city by coach.
The group will be split with some guests travelling to Henley Beach by coach and cycling back to the city.
ED6 – 1 Day Kangaroo Island Tour with return flights

Fly from Adelaide to Kangaroo Island to make the most of this fascinating island. View a fur seal colony and explore the island's largest park, Flinders Chase National Park including a visit to Remarkable Rocks, a rocky outcrop atop ocean cliffs. These large granite boulders balance dramatically on the cliff edge, which plunges 75 metres into the turbulent Southern Ocean below. At Admirals Arch see where the powerful forces of nature have cut through the headland to create this natural geological formation. During the day there is an opportunity to view koalas in their natural habitat.
ED7 – Golf at The Kooyonga Golf Club

Time:0645 – 1530 hours
Additional Cost : A$190.00 per person
Minimum of 40 participants
Enjoy a morning round of golf on a tranquil, picturesque 18-hole course which offers a challenge to golfers of all standards. A breakfast box is included.
TIME: 0800 hours shotgun start begins
Departure Point
All tours will be departing from the Adelaide Convention Centre. All participants are requested to assemble 10 minutes prior to the departure of each tour.
Touring Programme Terms and Conditions
These tours, designed by Tour Hosts Destination Management, a division of Tour Hosts Pty Limited (license No 2TA001144), are for participating Attendees of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association 54 th Council Meeting.
All sightseeing tours include informative English speaking commentary, all entry fees, and meals where specified. Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended for all tours. For any outdoor tours we recommend that participants bring sun protection cream, sunhat and sunglasses.
All tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund will be made. Places on all tours are limited and will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of payment. Where participants cancel their day tour bookings prior to 8 October 2007, payment will be refunded in full. Thereafter, no refund will be made.
